Matthias Graf von Westphalen

Matthias, a founding partner of GlenSilva GmbH, also owns and runs the Westphalen Estate. The Estate acts as an agriculture and forestry services company with 105 employees managing proprietary and third-party land and renewable energy investments in Europe.

Matthias’ European timberland properties of some 9,000 hectares have been managed by his family for hundreds of years.  He also manages family investments in forest assets in New Zealand and real estate in North America.

Matthias has worked as a portfolio manager, including for sustainable investments at LGT Bank (Frankfurt), and CEO of the investment management company of German insurer Alte Leipziger.

At Adohi Partners, Matthias’s roles include client relations, portfolio management and oversight of forestry operations.
